Much like the song Richard Burton, the title track for this album came to me out of the blue. WTF Is Happiness??? as a song title appealed to me firstly because there was a time when I would've never even entertained the idea of using such a common phrase as an album or song title. But in the world of 2023 where our methods and manners of communication have changed so drastically that the idea of using WTF is so quirky and interesting to me, I pounced on the idea.

That all being said, the subject is sad. I'm singing about being sad and lonely, which I very much am and was during the making of this album. I'm not shy in saying this and I don't add these notes of sadness to my music so that you feel sorry for me. I'm simply being honest. Living with Parkinson's disease has been a constant struggle and batter for me since my diagnosis in 2005. It keeps pulling me further and further away from my family, friends and life, and it's getting harder to do everything.

The one thing remains unchanged over the years is that I still love making music and I will keep making until I can no longer.
