There are always a few thoughts that rattle around in my head when I ask myself, what is this song about? The real answer lies in the ears and imagination of the listener. However, I must admit in this case I was imagining a trans-gendered individual who had put their dreams and life on hold because of what others might think if they decided to be themselves. I love this song and it's probably my favourite from the album.
